Portraits Q: How many photos will I receive for a standard portrait session? A: I aim to send fifty photographs. I anticipate around one hour of on location time. However, I absolutely understand that life doesn't always go as planned. If something comes up during the session (child doesn't feel well/is exhausted, bad weather, etc), I can split the photo shoot into two sessions (for the same price). My goal is to provide you with the quality photographs you're looking for. Q: Will you book a photo shoot if the location is an hour away? Absolutely! I'm always up for traveling. However, there is a small fee. Q: Can pets be included in photographs? A: Yes! I can photograph pets individually and in group portraits. If you'd also like photographs without your pets, please bring someone to hold them. Q: What should my child wear? A: If your child's portrait is in a park, I would stay away from green clothing. It's a bit too much with the color of the grass and trees. I also suggest clothes that aren't for "play." Colorful outfits with layers seem to work best. You can bring multiple outfits, but it does depends on the child whether or not we'll be able to get to them. I recommend dressing them in your favorite outfit first. Q: Can I send email you photographs that I like and want for my shoot? Of course. This allows me to get a sense of the style that you're looking for. However, I shoot in a photojournalistic style and prefer capturing moments as they happen (especially for children younger than five). |
Weddings Q: How many wedding photographs will I receive? Will you include every photograph you take? A: Throughout your wedding day, thousands of photographs will be taken, so including every single photograph would be overwhelming. I will go through each photo and edit the top 400-500 photographs (for an 6-8 hour wedding). Q: How long will it take to receive the CD of photographs? A: I edit each photograph individually to make sure the color/contrast/sharpness works for that that specific photograph. Because of this process, it could take up to three months to send out the photographs. **If you need a photograph for a thank you card, just let me know. I'd be happy to email that specific photograph to you before sending out the disc. If you're in a rush, I can even send it the day after your wedding.** Q: Do you have a second photographer available? A: Yes! I always bring a second shooter. We work together to shoot the ceremony and family/bridal party pictures. Q: Color or black and white? A: I prefer to do a mixture of the two. Some photographs really pop with color and others feel more elegant in black and white. However, if you would rather have all of your photographs in black and white or color, please let me know. Q: You recently moved to Washington, but are you still booking weddings in Pennsylvania? A: Occasionally. Send me a message and I will let you know if I'm able to travel the weekend of your weekend. At this time, I'm able to book one east coast wedding per year. |
